Achsah Hudson Rasco, 93, of Dewitt died Monday, July 10, 2000, at her home.
She served on the Dewitt Public Library Board and the Dewitt City Hospital Auxiliary, was a member of the Mendelssohn Club, the Mother's Club and the TEL Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. C.W. Rasco Jr.
Funeral was at First Baptist Church in Paris with burial at Dewitt Cemetery under the direction of Essex Funeral Home of Dewitt.
She is survived by one son, Robert Hudson Rasco of Dermott; one daughter, Jane Rasco Foltz of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Becca Rasco Cope and Jane Rasco Barnett, both of Little Rock, Charles Grant Purdy of DeWitt and Kent Rasco Magee of Oxford, Miss.; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Burnett and H. Terry Rasco, Joe T. Currie, T. Gary Hudson, Gordon Burnett, Patrick and Monte McKewen and Joe Frank Chambers.
Honorary pallbearers are members of TEL Sunday school class and the deacons of First Baptist Church in Dewitt.
