Died-Near Highland Lake, Weld county, Colo., at 11 p. m., Jan. 19, of valvular lesion of the heart, Mr. Sam'l P. Davis, in the 35th year of his age.
Under the shadow of a great grief it is hard oftentimes for one to collect his thoughts sufficiently to speak words of soberness. And with such a loss as we noted above much would be pardoned to tears flowing down the cheeks of a comparative stranger. To know Mr. Davis was to respect and honor him.
