SALISBURY - Ervin Bean, 63, of 1205 N. Long St. died Friday in Rowan Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be 3 p.m. today in the Victory Baptist Church.
Bean was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He was employed by the Town of Spencer.
Survivors are widow, Mrs. Emma Poole Bean; daughters, Mrs. Allen Peeler of Granite Quarry, Mrs. Jack Thomas of Harmony; step-daughters, Mrs. Louise Parrish of Marksville, Mrs. Betty Beck of Lexington, Mrs. Frances Troxler of Salisbury; brothers, J. W. Bean of Asheboro, Ollie Bean of Seagrove, Wesley Bean of Spencer; sisters, Mrs. Hadley Auman, Mrs. H. C. Cole, Mrs. Junie Farlow, Mrs. Ima King all of Seagrove, Mrs. R. H. Cole of Charlotte.
