Sons And Sons-in-Law Are Bearers At Gehret Funeral
The funeral of Mrs. Sarah A. (part missing) North Tenth street. The remains were attired in an elderdown kimono and reposed in a black cloth-covered casket, with silver trimmings. Rev. J. A. Rickter conducted services.
Four sons and two sons-in-law acted as bearers. They were: Harry, Stricklin, Luther and Charles, sons, and Edward McGaw, and William B. Griesemer, sons-in-law. Mrs. Charles Gehret and Miss Laura Gehret were present from Altoona, and friends from Allentown, Kutztown, Phoenixville and Newberry Junction were in attendance. There were many tributes.
Interment in Charles Evans cemetery.
