Local relatives recieved word of the death of Charles F. Gehret, 75, at his home, 511 Logan Ave., Altoona. He was a native of Reading, a son of the late Henry and Sarah (Schoedler) Gehret. He moved to Altoona in early life and was a retired Pennylvania Railroad employe [sic].
Surviving are his widow, Naomi Gehret; one son, Robert; three sisters: Mrs. Eva McGaw and Mrs. Laura Buzza, both of Altoona, and Anna Gehret, of Washington; also a number of nieces and nephews in Reading.
The funeral took place this afternoon in Altoona.
