Mary Frances Houpt-Engle-Telscher-Armstrong, 91, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010. She was born in Sullivan, IN, to Roy and Mary Elizabeth Robertson Houpt on May 13, 1919. She moved to Speedway in 1941. Mary enjoyed the festivities during the month of May, square dancing, and participating and attending the local craft fairs. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Max Engle, Bill Telscher, and Jim Armstrong; and her siblings: Dorothy, Clarence, Roy Gene, Helen, and Clinton. Mary is survived by her son: Terry Engle (Connie) and two grandchildren: Scott Engle (Sissy) and Amber Engle. Both the viewing and funeral will be held at Conkle Funeral Home in Speedway. The viewing will take place on Sunday, May 23, from 4 – 8 p.m., with the funeral on Monday, May 24 at 10 a.m.
