Rozell C. Liptow Cornuet-Schultz, 90 of Freeport, formerly of Brackenridge, died at 5:15 am Monday (March 12, 2001) in her home following a brief illness.
Born April 29, 1910, in Charleroi, she lived most of her life in Brackenridge before residing in Freeport for the past 22 years.
She enjoyed growing flowers, crocheting, sewing and knitting.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond F. Cornuet of Lower Burrell and the Rev. Earl H. Cornuet of Fryburg; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Margaret A. "Peg") Richardson of Sarver, Buffalo Township; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Frances) Kerwin of Caliente, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emil Cornuet; second husband, William Schultz; a son, Emil J. Cornuet; parents, Frank N. and Anna M. Gearhart Liptow and two sisters, Florence Liptow and Margaret Ann Chesnut.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 10th avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald A. Burkett Sr., pastor of Lower Burrell Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, Harrison. The family suggest memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
