Mrs. Verna Turnock, died at 1 a.m. today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bernard Cushing, 646 E. Irvington Ave., where she resided.
She was born in South Bend, Nov. 27, 1890. Her husband, Thomas, died here in 1941.
Surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Sandusky, of South Bend; a son , Thomas E. of Elmonte, Calif.; a sister, Mrs Charles E. Speth of South Bend; two foster sisters, Mrs. Julia Daveline of South Bend, and Mrs. O. S. Barrett of Round Lake, Ill., and a foster brother, Benjamin Hickey of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Turnock was a member of St. Matthew's Church.
