Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The remains arrived here Thursday afternoon. The Rev. H. H. McBride, the Rev. Alwin Stokes, and the Rev. H. B. Hysell will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery.
Mr. Averett formerly lived in Winnfield during which time he was employed as linotype operator at the Winnfield News American and The Winn Parish Enterprise.
Surviving are four brothers, J. R. Averett, Hallsville, Texas; D. E. Averett, Gilmer, Texas; Walter W. Averett, Shreveport; and W. O. Averett, Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. C. E. Sompayrac and Mrs. J. R. Watts, Winnfield and Mrs. W. J. Baker of Jackson, Miss.
