CLIFFORD G ADKISON-84: Madison, died Tuesday [8-25] at a local hosp after a short illness. He was born 5 May 1897 in Platteville & had lived in the Madison area for the past 55yrs. He married the former Rosina Bentz on 25 Feb 1920. He was a caretaker at Breese Stevens Field & the Madison Curling Club for 24yrs. He was the inventor of the Athletic Field Liner & was a life member of Madison Curling Club. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He was also a veteran of WW1.
He is survived by 3 daus: MrsMerel Frelman-Madison; MrsDonald Doran-Madison; MrsArthur Miller-Monona; 13 grandchildren & 7 gr grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosina in 1968 & a son Clifford in 1976.
Visitation at Gunderson Funeral Home. Service will be held Thursday [8-27] at Holy Cross Lu-theran Church with Rev Geo Orvick officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cem.
