Iona M Archey Adkins, age 85, of Troy, OH died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 26, 1924 in Bennett, KY to the late James H Archey and Essie Chaffins Archey. She married Oscar Adkins, her husband of 59+ years of marriagewho survives. She is also survived by her children, Linda Gary Johnson of Tipp City, OH; Beverly David Browning of Troy, OH; Kathy David Foster of Springfield, OH and James Marsha Adkins of Clewiston, FL; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Iona was preceded in death by a brother, Charles B. Archey and sisters, Claro Abdon and Cora Patrick. Services to be held 2:00PM Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the BairdFuneral Home Troy, OH. Interment in Maple Hill Cemetery TippCity,OH.
