Charles B. Archey, 83, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio.

He was born on October 29, 1920 in Bennett, Kentucky to the late James and Essie (Chaffins) Archey.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Leona M. (Bowling) Archey; and one daughter, Helen (Archey) Wilson of Troy, Ohio.

He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-laws: Claro and Freeman Abdom of Load, Kentucky and Iona and Oscar Adkins of Troy, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Cora Archey Patrick.

He was an avid Bee keeper since he was 8 years old. He belonged to the Miami Valley Bee Keepers Association. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church; was a member of the Farmer Market Association where he would sell his produce and honey at market the last 10 years.

He retired from Hobart Corporation after 29 years of service in the packing and shipping department.

Burial will be at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. Rick Arrowood officiating the service.
