Age 86 / per my information I have found, this is probably my great great grandfather, John D. McAtee, b: 11 Nov 1833 in Pennsylvania, per Illinois Deaths & Stillbirths: John D. McAtee age 86, b: 11 Nov 1833 of Pennsylvania died at the Illinois Poor House in Bloomington, McLean Co, Illinois on 15 Feb 1920 burial in City Cemetery / per Mr Mullen his J.G. McAtee was born in Florida, so there were probably 2 John McAtees at Poor House....also in 1920 I have his son: John Robert McAtee WW I Draft Registration & he used his dad to verify who he was, dad's address was Bloomington, IL / I think this Memorial can be linked to #149051152 / per my dad & his mom: Hattie Blanche McAtee d/o Charles Thomas McAtee, John D. McAtee came to Illinois from Pennsylvania to work coal mines near Colfax, McLean Co, Ill....I did find that there were 2 coal mines in Colfax, one on each side of town, both went out of business....in all census records I found John D. working as farmer.....
