According to records Fred was born in 1853 but stone says 1854. His parents were John G and Ann (weaver) Heselden. He was educated in common schools of Ohio. I 1865 he went to Danville Il. and in 1874 went to Knox Co. in Il. Was marred to Laura on Nov 8 1877. Lived in St Augustine Il. Was a R.R.Fireman
