Elva Mae Richardson passed away Sept. 15, 2007, in Woodland at the age of 86.
She was born Jan. 3, 1921, in Kelso to Frank and Mary (Rewey) Baum and lived her entire life in Southwest Washington.
Elva enjoyed crocheting, sewing and knitting. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elva is survived by four of her five children, Sandra A. Burgess of Kelso, Arland D. Richardson of Woodland, Ronald K. Richardson of Longview and Alan J. Richardson of Shreveport, La.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Richardson of Chehalis and Verna Lentz of Pahrump, Nev.; and a brother, Delbert Baum of Kelso.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry J. Richardson; two brothers, Donald and Raymond Baum; and two sisters, Evelyn Konen and Iva Peterson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Columbia Funeral Service chapel, 1105 Maple St., in Longview.
