The funeral of Alexander Bell, who died [Middlechurch] Thursday evening, at the age of 86, was held Sunday in the Grassmere United at 2 pm with burial in the local cemetery. Holloway & Langtry funeral home, Stonewall, in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his widow Margaret, 4 sons, Clarence & Edgar, of Winnipeg, and Arnold & William, of Stonewall, 5 daughters, Mrs.R. James, of St.Vital, Mrs.F.McLennan, of Russell, Man., Mrs.W.Edward, of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Mrs.E.Wright, of Maryfield, Sask., & Ferne, at home; 3 brothers & 3 sisters, 15 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. The pallbearers were W.G.Becker, A.Marsh, A.Matheson, H.Appleyard, W.Essex & R.Cameron.
