Dominick Mitchell Sr., 92, of 109 Seventh St.,Solvay,died Sunday at Community-General Hospital. He was born in Canastota. He retired in 1967 after 39 years as a boilermaker at Allied Chemical, Solvay. He bowled in Solvay Recreation Bowling League and at Fairmount Bowling Lanes, and was a member of Syra-Sol Club, United Mine Workers District 50 and Bocce Club of Solvay. Survivors: His wife, the former Mildred Williams; three daughters, Grace Herbert of Solvay, Marie McKlosky of Fairmount and Joanne Meyer of New Jersey; a son, Dominick Jr. of Camillus; two sisters, Sister Marion Adele of Monroe and Joanne Paone of Canastota; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Services: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church. Burial, Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, Syracuse. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay. Contributions: St. Cecilia's Church, Woods Road, Solvay 13209.
