George A. McNutt, died at his residence at 422 Reynolds Avenue Monday, August 22, 1938, at 6:40 a.m. after a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife, Cathryn Wyant McNutt; one son, Stewart, of Beaver, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Howard Summers, Kittanning, R.D. 3; Betty, Lenora and Joanne, at home; two brothers, Walter McNutt, West Kittanning, and Edward McNutt, of Kittanning; four sisters, Mrs. W.J. Santrock, Kittanning; Mrs. Effie Thomas, Stubenville, Ohio; Miss Cecilia McNutt, Pittsburgh; Mrs. S.J. Andrews, Aliquippa, and two grandchildren. Funeral services in charge of Dr. George N. Lauffer, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church of Kittanning, will be held at Adrian Wednesday, August 24, at 2 p.m. (EST). Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
