Services for Edward L. Bogart, 78, of 2007 Westwood-Northern boulevard, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Simminger Funeral Home, 3050 Harrison avenue, Westwood. Mr. Bogart died Saturday at Deaconess Hospital after a four-month illness.

Before retiring eight years ago, Mr. Bogart had been employed by the Cincinnati Board of Education for more than 25 years. His last assignment was custodian of Cummins School, Gilbert avenue and William Howard Taft road. He and his wife celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Mr. Bogart was a long-time member of the SS Peter and Paul United Church of Christ.

He leaves besides his wife, Laura Keller Bogart; two daughters, Mrs. Delores Weise, Mt. Washington, and Mrs. June Stamper, Norwood; three sons, Gilbert, Westwood; Edward, Oakley, and Gene, Mt. Healthy; a brother, Clifford, Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. Marfaret Gerichten, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Katherine Kile, Ft. Thomas; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
