BREEDEN, Emerson Sr.; Maryland 1957; "Mr. Emerson BREEDEN, Sr., 64, husband of Mrs. Madeline ENDERS BREEDEN, died Monday, October 3d at Veteran's Hospital, Perry Point. The deceased was a veteran of World War I, having served for eight years in the U.S. Navy. In 1948 he retired from the Aberdeen Proving Ground, and for the past eleven years had been engaged in farming. He was a member of the Joseph L. Davis American Legion Post, Havre de Grace.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five children, Emerson BREEDEN, Jr., San Francisco, Cal., Mrs. Nancy Louise KALMBACHER, Aberdeen, Mrs. Rosalie Helen GARDNER, Mrs. Oma A. HARTZELL, and William E. BREEDEN, Havre de Grace. Five grandchildren also survive, as do two brothers, Messrs. Elva E. BREEDEN, French Lick, Ind., and William E. BREEDEN, Ada, Oklahoma, and three sisters, Mrs. Oma LASHBROOK, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Rosalie REUTER, Sedalia, Missouri, and Mrs. Ethel CLARKSON, Florence, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 18 at 2 p.m. from the Pennington Funeral Home, Havre de Grace with the Rev. W. Edward Austin, D.D. officiating. Burial will be in Rock Run Cemetery, the following persons serving as pallbearers: Messers. George BRADFIELD, J. Robert KNIGHT, Roscoe WEST, J. Earl and Audrey WORTHINGTON and Lawrence KALMBACHER."
