Helen M. Krasucki, 89, of North Walnut Street, Nanticoke, passed away Sunday morning in Kindred Care of Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born on Jan. 19, 1918, in Nanticoke, daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Cheshinski Baranowski.
Helen retired from San Sue Frock, Nanticoke, after working there for 20 years.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke. She had previously served as president of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the ILGWU.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 2003; brothers, Frank Baranowski and Henry Wojciechowski; sister, Irene Babiuk.
Surviving are sons, Paul P., Wilkes-Barre; Henry Jr., Wolcott, N.Y.; Joseph, Nashua, N.H.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 9:30 from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke, with the Rev. James Nash officiating.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m.
