Mrs. Collums died Sept. 12, 2003 in Casper, Wyoming. Margaret, 101 years old, was born June 16, 1902 in Chickasha, Indian Territory, Oklahoma. Her parents were James C. and Clara Whiteman Terrell. Margaret married Garner G. Collums May 30, 1922 in Chickasha. He pre-deceased her in July, 1962. In 1942, Mr. Collums received a direct commission in the U.S. Army Air Corp and Margaret worked in the USO during World War II after he was transferred to China. She served the USO in San Diego, Chicago and Shreveport, LA. Margaret attended Emery University in Atlanta, GA and was initiated into Alpha Chi Omega sorority in 1921. She returned to Chickasha and graduated from Oklahoma College for Women with a degree in music. After WWII she taught school in Norman Public Schools and started the University Travel Service, the first Travel Service in Norman. As a Travel Agent, she traveled extensively and took several Round-the-World cruises. She lived the last 10 years of her life in Casper, Wyoming. Survivors are her son, James D. Collums, Casper, WY; grandsons, Gary G. Collums and James S. Collums, Casper, WY; granddaughter, Christi C. Doyle, Las Vegas, NV; and seven great-grandchildren
