SQUIBB - Near Churchtown, on the 1st inst., JOHN SQUIBB, age 72 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Relatives and friends, and also members of Lodge of Odd Fellows, in Birdsboro, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, without further notice, from the residence of his son George Squibb, 109 North Walnut, Birdsboro, Tuesday at 11 oclock, Daylight Savings Time. Services at the house. Interment in St Michael's cemetery, Birdsboro. Friends may call Monday evening.

John Squibb
Birdsboro Aug 1 - John Squibb, aged 75 years, 2 months, and 24 days, died at the old Squibb homestead, Caernarvon, near Churchtown, following a prolonged illness. He was a son of the late Elisha and Mary (Patton) Squibb. He came to this borough 50 years ago, and followed the blacksmith trade until 19 years ago when he retired.
Mr. Squibb was a member of Alice Focht Methodist Church, and Odd Fellows, of town. There survive his widow, Jane (McGowan), one son, George Squibb, 109 North Walnut, this borough, with whom he resided, and a daughter, Alice, wife of Clarence[sic Harry] Anderson, also of this borough. He was the last of his immediate family.
Funeral Tuesday morning 11 o'clock at the home of his son. Rev. Henry C Turner will officiate. Interment in St Michael's cemetery, this borough. Funeral Director Edwin F Mohr and Son, of town, has charge.
