NORFOLK--Clyde Walston Stevens, 85, of 1206 Virgilina Ave., a native of Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday in a hospital. Stevens was the former owner of City Drug Co. in Elizabeth City. He was a member of Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church in Elizabeth City and the Elizabeth City Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Isabelle Rainey Stevens. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is in charge.
He was married late in life and had no children.
