ELIZABETH CITY, N.C.—Mrs. Pearl Kellam Stevens Spence, 86, of 611 Yarmouth Road, the widow of Judge George J. Spence, died Sunday in Rex Hospital, Raleigh.
She was a native of Elizabeth City and a member of Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Albert [Ann Elizabeth] Hargrove of Raleigh, and a son, George J. Spence, Jr. of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Hollywood Cemetery with Entombment in Spence Mausoleum. Twiford Memorial Chapel has charge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Blackwell Memorial Church building fund.

Cause of Death: Acute and chronic pyelonephritis due to chronic renal & congestive heart failure48
