Scheideman, 72, died Wednesday,
Aug. 7, 2002, at Central Kansas
Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 28, 1929, in
Timken to Ben and Katie
(Lohrey) Scheideman.
He was a U.S. Army veteran,
serving in Korea.
He married Dorothy L. Renner
on May 8, 1955, in La Crosse. He
was a farmer and area resident
since 1991, having lived Colorado
Springs, Colo., and Rush County.
Survivors include his wife,
Great Bend; a daughter, Linda K.
Boyer, Springfield, Mass.; a sister,
Shirley Arthur, Bossier City, La.;
and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a
sister, Carol Chevalier.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday
at Bryant Funeral Home,
Great Bend, with the Rev. Edward
J. Forton officiating; burial at
11:30 a.m. at La Crosse City Cemetery.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m.
today and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday
at the funeral home.
