Marjolue was born in Red River County, Texas, to the late Lessie Guthrie Prewitt and Lloyd Torrence Prewitt. She was a licensed, ordained minister, licensed cosmetologist, and she had a degree in Mental Health from MCC. She loved sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone she met. Her greatest desire was for everyone to know Jesus as their personal savior, especially her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Goodnoe; brothers, Spencer and Sherman Prewitt; and her sister, Patsy Banks.
Marjolue is survived by her husband, Billy Hawley, of Waco; daughters, Connie Evers, of Round Rock and Katherine Estella, of Riesel; sons, Paul Goodnoe, of Corsicana and Richard Hawley, of Waco; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Carrie Pulley, of Hooks; brother, David Prewitt, of Hooks; numerous nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
