August 21, 1905 Leila Camp Strickland Shadrix and family lived in Fruithurst, Cleburne, Alabama when she had her son, John Strickland, committed to Bryce Hospital, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Her death date has been estimated being after August 21, 1905 and before August 1, 1906 since her 2nd husband, Thomas W Shadrix, married Nannie Bivins August 1, 1906 in Carroll County, Georgia.

At this time it is unknown where Leila is buried...possibly in an unmarked grave next to her 1st husband, Albert G Strickland, in the Strickland Cemetery, Carroll County, Georgia. Her father is buried in Taylor's Chapel Cemetery, Cherokee County, Alabama which is in the area Leila and family were living about the time of her death...I guess we will never know for sure until someone can find proof.
