Mrs. Manchaca Dies Tuesday In Hospital

Requiem Mass for Mrs. Henrietta Manchaca, 71, will be said at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Thursday morning, July 26, at 9 o'clock, with internment to follow in the Morale cemetery.

Mrs. Manchaca died this morning, Tuesday, at 8:35 o'clock in City Memorial hospital.

Born March 20, 1885, Mrs. Manchaca had lived in Nacogdoches all of her life, and was a resident of route 3. The daughter of Platt and Mary Acosta Poskey, she was married in 1920 to Joseph Manchaca who preceded her in death in 1953.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Don Gromer, Jacksonville, Fla; and Mrs. Jessie Molandes, Mrs. William Beard, Mrs. Richard Rodrigues, and Mrs. Rosa Lee Molandes, all of Nacogdoches; three sons, Ralph Manchaca, Frank Manchaca, and Lawrence Manchaca, all of Nacogdoches; also one sister, Mrs. Mary Arriola, Nacogdoches; four brothers, Bill Poskey, Lee Poskey, Lewis Poskey, and Tony Poskey, all of Nacogdoches; and 16 grandchildren.

Oakley-Metcalf funeral home is in charge of all arrangements.
