John C. Morgan, one of the oldest business men in Naples, died last night at his home on East avenue. He was born in Naples in 1835, the son of Rev. John C. Morgan and Harriet Swift Morgan. In 1872 he married Augusta Parkinson, who died November 27, 1917. He leaves a son, John C. Morgan, who succeeded his father in the drug business, and a daughter, Mary Morgan, of Naples. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. S. P. Long officiated and interment was made in Rose Ridge cemetery.
