She was the widow of Rev. Alan B. Freeman who was a Baptist minister who died of Typhoid Fever and Exposure on 15 December 1834 after preaching a sermon in Chicago, Illinois. It is not known where he was buried. Hannah gave birth to a son, called Allen after his father, a short time after her husband`s death, but the boy died at age 3 yrs 29 days.

She became the 2nd wife of Rev. Alvin Etna Bailey. She died in the 44th year of her age. Birth year calculated from age at death.
