She was a member of the Friendship Club and was a psychiatric aide at Central State Hospital for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Herbert Sasser.
Survivors: sons, Kenneth Sasser and Albert Sasser, both of Libuse, and David Sasser of Ruston; daughters, Cora Lee Crooks of Deville and Vera Ann Paulk of Hickory Grove; brothers, Eddie Tuma of Pineville, George Tuma of Libuse and Jerry Tuma of Shreveport; sisters, Helen Kramel and Yarmilla Williams, both of Libuse; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers: Eddie Crooks, Wayne Paulk, David Sasser Jr., Robbie Sasser, Kevin Sasser, Dave Crooks, Scott Crooks, Chad Crooks and Jeff Paulk.
