Delcie M. Phillips. 93, of Brumley died Friday, Jan. 8, 1988 at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital in Osage Beach. She was born Jan. 16, 1894 near Richland to Joseph and Barbara Robinett Godfrey. On Jan 5, 1913 she was married to Clarence Phillips, who died in February 1979.

Mrs. Phillips was a lifetime resident of the Brumley area. She had been a resident of a nursing home for the past eight years. She was a member of the Rodden Church of Christ.

Surviving her are four sons, Elvin Phillips of Iberia, Ike Phillips, Pat Phillips and Louie Phillips, all of Brumley; a daughter, Ila Asa of Brumley; a brother, Arthur Godfrey of Richland; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rodden Church of Christ with Bro. Farris Wall officiating. Burial was in Rodden Cemetery under the direction of Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home of Iberia.
