Mildred Carey-Bright of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away March 27, 2009.
She was born July 28, 1939, to Asa B. and Mildred E. (Wickard) Carey in Beaverton.
Mildred was confirmed into the Christian faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gladwin, May 30, 1954. In 1967, she married Donald L. Bright in Muncie, Indiana. The happy couple moved to Daytona Beach, Florida and resided there until Mildred’s death. Her loving husband, Don, survives.
Mildred enjoyed country music, crossword puzzles, taking care of her dog, Angel, and spending time with her husband.
Cremation has taken place. On Sunday, July 19, 2009, a private memorial service will be held at the home of James L. Carey, of Big Rapids, and at the Tobacco Township Cemetery near Beaverton.
May our dear sister and friend Mildred be greeted in the world beyond by those family members who have gone before; her parents, Asa and Mildred Carey; brother, Robert G. Carey; and sister, Martha Carey-Horton.
