He was an auto mechanic and a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Wanda Tolson; grandsons, Darrel Tolson and wife Melissa, Gale and Kyle Tolson; great grandchildren, A.J. Tolson, Kevin Tolson, Anna Tolson, Michael Tolson, Ethin Tolson, Trent Tolson, Ashley Tolson and Amanda Tolson; 3 great grandchildren; brothers Roy and Elvis Hamersley. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Lavetta Reed; brothers, Ralph, Orland, Albert and Lawrence Hamersley and a son in law, Harold Tolson. Services will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Cottonwood Baptist Church with interment at Non Cemetery. Rev. Bill Weathers will officiate.
