Mrs. Brennan of Wenona Claimed
Mrs. John F. Brennan, a highly respected Wenona woman who has been confined to St. Mary's hospital her for several months following a serious operation for cancer passed away last evening at 9:15. She was born in LaSalle, Illinois Feb 1864 the daughter of John and Ellen Kennedy. In January 1888 she was united in marriage to John Brennan at the Eagle church. Her maiden name was Miss Nellie Kennedy. To this union were born ten children, nine of which survive their mother. The two boys are Thomas J. Brennan and Finton Brennan of Osage township. The seven girls are Mrs. Williams of Metamora, Il; Margaret Nolan of Osage township; Sister Andrea of Ottawa, IL; Elizabeth Jaegle, Mable Lutz and Lorretta M. Miller of Osage township and Miss Lucy at home. There are two brothers, Dan Kennedy of Storm Lake, Iowa and John Kennedy of Eagle. Mrs. Anna Barron of Ottawa is a sister.
