Ray, a lifelong Elizabeth area resident, was born the son of Mr. & Mrs. Herman Burau. Ray married Grace Lowell on March 6, 1916 in Elizabeth & they lived there together for 44 years.

Ray passed away at the Elbow Lake Community Hospital at the age of 77.

Ray leaves one daughter, Kathlyn (Harold) Stein of Sauk Centre & a son, Arnold, of Elbow Lake; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Miss Mary Burau of Pioneer Home in Fergus Falls; two infant children passed away in infancy.

Funeral services will be Tuesday from St. John's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Donald Knick officiating.
