Grace was born the daughter of Shubal Harley & Mary Alice Rogers Lowell of Pelican Rapids. She married Raymond Julius Burau March 6, 1916. The lived in Elizabeth, MN for 44 years & were the parents of Arnold, Kathlyn, & two sons whom passed away in infancy. Grace was devoted to her family and her home & will be missed by a wide circle of friends. She passed away at the Pelican Valley Health Center after a brief period of failing health.

Grace's siblings include Ida, Olive, Pearl, Cora, Eva, Harley, Helen, Walter, & Cecil. Ida & Harley preceded their sister in death.

Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Elizabeth, Rev. Herbert Kothe officiating.

Fergus Falls Daily Journal 3/11/1916 Pg 7 - "WEDDING AT ELIZABETH At eight o'clock Monday evening, Mr. Raymond J. Burau and Miss Grace L. Lowell were united in marriage at Elizabeth. In response to many invitations a great host of friends and relatives of the contracting parties were present to witness the ceremony and take part in the wedding festivities. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Lowell of Pelican Rapids and is a popular young lady. The groom is a young businessman of Elizabeth. Friends of the young couple extend hearty congratulations."
