Services for Addie Mae Chreene Darden, age 61, were held Wednesday, October 3, 1984 at Gibsland First Baptist church with Rev. Stan McGee, assisted by Rev. M.F. Copeland, officiating. Burial was in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Conger's Funeral Home. Mrs. Darden died October 1, 1984 at LSU Hospital in Shreveport. She was a housewife and a member of Gibsland First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, William Riley Chreene and Lennie F. Darden. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Koonce of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one son, Billy R. Chreene of Shreveport, La.; two brothers, Ben Welch of Mt. Lebanon and Albert J. Welch of Washington, DC; five grandchildren.
