Parents: Edward & Sarah Fish

Tunkhannock Republican, Friday, Jun 27, 1902
Wilkes Barre Record

Grace, daughter of Mr & Mrs Edward FISH, of Lynn, died at the home of her brother, A C FISH, in Stevensville on Thursday evening. She expected to enter the hospital at New Haven, CT, as a trained nurse on Wed, the day previous to her death. Having passed a perfect examination, she was obliged to be vaccinated, according to the rules of such institutions. Three weeks ago she was vaccinated, but as it did not work she had blood poisoning, from the effects of which she died. For more than a week previous to her death she could not move a muscle. Services held at Stevensville on Saturday, and funeral at the home in Lynn on Sunday. It was said that a rather strange coincidence had happened in connection with the death, in that she was to have entered the hospital on Wed and report for duty on Thurs. evening at 7 o'clock, the exact time that her spirit took flight. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Burial in the family plot in Lynn Cemetery. Survived by parents, sisters: Edith Merle, Myra and Nellie and brothers A C, Ernest and Walter.
