Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred R. Alligood, 89, of Cadwell, will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at Cadwell Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Cadwell Cemetery. Rev. Jim Duggan will officiate. Mrs. Alligood was born March 6, 1916 in Cadwell to the late Joel Franklin and Julia Ridley Rivers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell William Alligood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell William Alligood. She died Monday morning in a Cumming Nursing Home. Survivors include two sons, Joel Alligood and his wife Marlene of Roswell and Darrell William Alligood and his wife Susan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Lisa Ragland and her husband Brett of Oviedo, Fla., Keri Malloy of New Market, Md., Dawn La Borde and her husband Chris of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, John Alligood of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Julia Alligood of Roswell and Will Alligood of Roswell.
