Funeral services for Lannie R.Kilgore, 70, of Greenville, will be at l:30 p.m., Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel, with Rev. Henry Richerson and Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas.

Mr. Kilgore went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 2:37 p.m., at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born March 31, l937, in Dallas to Ross W. Kilgore and Lorene Lucas Kilgore.

On July 26, l983, he married June Fannon in Las Vegas, Nev.

He served in the U.S. Marines-Reserves for four years.

He was a truck driver for Santa Fe and Smith Trucking and was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. He graduated from Crosier Tech in Dallas in l956 and was also a local member of Teamsters 745.

Survivors include a son, Michael "Mickey" Kilgore of Wills Point, a daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Ron Rogers of Rowlett; brothers Jack Kilgore of Dallas and Roger Kilgore of San Digeo, Calif., grandchildren Amanda Rogers and Ashley Rogers of Rowlett, Cory Kilgore of Wills Point and Courtney Kilgore of Dallas, great-granddaughter Kamryn Kilgore of Wills Point, and many special friends from his Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and brothers, Dennie Ray Kilgore and Danny Ernest Kilgore.

Pallbearers will be Robert Frank, Don Thorn, Dugger Smith, Les Bunch, Scott Frey and Keith Hipkins.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p,m., Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
