Taylor Smith, 90, formerly of Steele, died June 29, 1992 at Rolla. Born June 1, 1902 in Savannah, Tenn., he was the son of Jim and Mary Elizabeth Boroughs Smith. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by a niece, Lillian Oates of Steele; And two nephews, James L. Kitchen of Portage, Ind., and Vernon N. Kitchen of Vallego, Calif.
Graveside services were July 1 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, the Rev. Loyd Adams officiating, John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
