"NITTINGER - May 19, at her late residence, 830 N. 4th st., HANNAH, widow of August Nittinger Sr., in her 87th year. Relatives and friends, also congregation of the Emanuel Evangelical Church, are invited to attend funeral services, in the Emanuel Evangelical Church, 4th st., below Poplar, Thurs., at 2 P. M. precisely. Int. at Mt. Vernon Cem."

Funeral of Aged Church Worker Will Be Held Today

Mrs Hannah Nitinger, of 830 North Fourth street, died Monday at her home. Funeral services will be held at Emmanuel Evangelical Church, Fourth street below Poplar, at 1.30 P. M. today, at which place she has worshipped for fifty years. Mrs. Nitinger was 87 years old and the widow of August Nitinger, who for meny years was a well-known manufacturer

She is survived by two sons, William F. and Samuel Nitinger, and a daughter, Mrs. F. O. Nagle. Interment will be made at Mount Vernon Cemetery."

Last week it was announced that due to changing neighborhood conditions the Emmanuel Episcopal Church would be sold to a business firm who desired the dite. The funeral will mark the passing of the edifice also, as no further services will be held there.

Mrs. Nitinger's health declined rapidly after the announcement of the sale of the church, in which she was greatly attached. She had worked i its interests since 1869."
