14 Sept 1926: Henrietta (Batdorf), widow of Adam Riehl, aged 82 years, died Sunday evening at 9 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cora Hippert, Sheridan, of complications. She had been in ill health for several weeks. Deceased was a daughter of the late John and Leah (Troutman) Batdorf, and was born in Mt. Aetna. She resided in Newmanstown the greater part of her life. Her husband preceded her in death nine years. There survive two daughters, Mrs. Cora Hippert, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Mamie Ritter, Newmanstown; also three sons, Frank and Howard, of Newmanstown, and Augustus, Lebanon; 27 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
