Roswell - Lillie M. Arnold, 95, of Runyan Avenue in Artesia, NM, died Thursday, June 1, 1995, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center-North in Roswell, NM. Services are set for 2 p. m. Monday at Pidcoke Baptist Church in Pidcoke, Texas, with the Rev. Hollis Yeilding officiating. Burial will follow in Pidcoke Cemetery.
She was born June 6, 1899, in Coryell County, Texas. She married Luther Nelson Arnold March 20, 1927, in that county. The couple came to Artesia, NM in 1959 from Odessa, Texas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1961.
She is survived by her son, Larry Arnold of Artesia, NM; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Faylean Slone in 1992, three brothers and three sisters.
Grandsons Ronnie Arnold, Delmar Slone, Daved Slone, Jim Riley, J.J. Plattor and Danny Barnett are scheduled to serve as pallbearers.
