Born April 27, 1931 in Garrett, she was a homemaker and volunteer at DeKalb Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star Auburn Lodge, and Homemakers Extension Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Don) Hanley of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren; brothers, Louis Shutt of MI, Robert Shutt of OH, and James Shutt of PA.; sisters, Mary Ann Warstler, and Martha Freed both of Ft. Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Ruth Macrae; brother, LeRoy Shutt; and a grandson.
