Mrs. Warstler was born on April 23, 1934 in Garrett, a daughter of Edward and Charlotte (Woodcock) Shutt. She spent her formative years in Garrett, and graduated from Garrett High School in 1954.
On January 5, 1958 she was married in Garrett to Billy E. Warstler, and moved from Garrett to Churubusco where she had lived until moving to Byron Health Center in 2002.
She was employed at Byron Health Center, and retired in 1996 after 20 years.
Mrs. Warstler attended the Merriam Christian Chapel.
The surviving relatives include her husband Billy E. Warstler; two daughters, Jennifer Jennings of Muncie, Laura Warstler of Columbia City; son, Robert (Angela) Warstler of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Louis Shutt, Robert (Barb) Shutt, James (Mary Kay) Shutt; sister, Martha Freed; five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Shutt and a sister, Beverly Macrae.
Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
