Jessie M. Person, 90, of Rockford died April 18, 2010, in Rockford. Born Sept. 28, 1919, in Rock Falls, the daughter of Fredrick and Helen Whipple (Thompson) Scott. Jessie was a member of Calvary Christian Church. She enjoyed her garden and crafts. Survivors include daughters, Alice (Rolla) Werline of Baton Rouge, La., Helen (Jim) Ehrhardt of Rockford and Phyllis (Michael) Corneiller of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sister, May Evans; brother, Harold Scott; six grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, Dorsey G. Person; parents, Helen and Fred Scott; sister, Pauline Konduras; and brothers, Elmer Scott, Leroy Scott, Keith Scott. Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, in Calvary Christian Church, Rockford, with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of service; Pastor Steven Doyle will officiate.
