Maurine Heathscott died in an automobile accident. She was riding in a van driven by Vicky Mohr of Cedar Grove on U.S. 67 south of Corning, Ark. Both women were killed. The accident article is in The Jackson Sun, July 2, 2002, page 3.

Maurine Heathscott Obituary

Funeral Services for Maureen Heathscott, age 76, will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Lexington. Burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Mrs. Heathscott, retired from Johnson Controls, died Friday in Corning, Ark. from injuries of an automobile accident.

She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn, Rena, and Faye; a son Jim; two sisters Bobbie and Verlon; three brothers, Willie, Max and Ewell; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Ronald Gilbert Sr., Charlie Heathscott and Tommy Heathscott.
